Heather Gay from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Calls for a Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Reunion—See What the Internet is Saying!

Utah is only so big!

As viewers check out Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, they are finding that eight episodes just isn’t enough. With all the drama from the eight ladies at the heart of the Mormon MomTok clique, people are calling for a second season — with a reunion special to tide them over in the meantime.

While Hulu hasn’t offered any official comment on a reunion or a second season, the fans are talking. When fan account @ratemybravo on Instagram asked, “Serious question: who gets tasked with hosting their reunion?” people immediately had thoughts.

“Please oh please 😂🙏🏼, ” commented Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay.

Gay wasn’t the only RHOSLC cast member mentioned in the comments. Season 4 breakout Monica Garcia was also named as a possible contender for the hosting position. Garcia only appeared for one season before her departure was announced by Variety in a January 2024 interview with executive producers of the show.

In 2022, Gay published her bestselling debut memoir Bad Mormon, discussing her life growing up in the Mormon community, where she found herself wanting to rebel against their tight-knit rules. Although her departure from the community has caused her to lose relationships, she has no regrets about her decision.

“I think the relationships that hurt me the deepest are just being estranged from my family,” Gay explained to PEOPLE at the time.

“The reason that I never wanted to leave the church is because I never wanted to put the strain on my community or my family or my closest friends. All my predictions came true. This is why I stayed for so long, because it’s very, very difficult for people to navigate once you’re outside the backyard gate. The gate shuts.”

Utah and the Mormon church aren’t the only strings between the RHOSLC ladies and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast. Demi Engemann also has a connection, by way of husband Bret Engemann.

Bret was previously married to former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Angie Harrington. The two met as college students at BYU and underwent what Angie has previously called a “very public divorce.” Bret and Angie share two sons, Cole, 15, and Rome, 19.
