Things are getting tense on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

In this week’s episode of the Bravo hit, Alexis Bellino got a call from John Janssen that she claimed could change Shannon Storms Beador’s life — and not for the better. After revealing to the women that John had a video of Shannon the night of her DUI, she then disclosed some shocking details about the footage’s content.

“John ended up calling her right before we left, and Shannon did something, and he said ‘All gloves are off’ and they’re going to release these videos of Shannon,” Katie Ginella told Emily Simpson before dropping a bomb: “There’s Ring footage cameras of her almost running over his daughter.”

“She kept saying, ‘If we release this, she’s done, her reputation gets completely done,’” Katie continued.

Emily, seemingly shocked by the allegation, didn’t see the reason for Alexis talking about the footage. She said if John and Alexis were truly happy, they wouldn’t be doing this.

“Why drag Shannon’s lifeless body along behind you?” Emily questioned. “I’m afraid it’s gonna push her to the point of no return.”

Earlier in the episode, Alexis’ call with John was not shown, but the women heard the aftermath where Alexis broke down in hysterics.

“I am literally gonna lose it right now, gloves are coming off,” she said.

“He could only tell me a minute of it, but I could hear it in Johnny’s voice,” she added about the news John shared with her. “It came to the point where John has had enough.”

When asked why she was keeping the details under wraps, Alexis said that was a question for John to answer.

“I’m not at liberty to discuss what happened that pushed John to the limit,” she explained. “We have the footage. We have the f—ing footage. We’ve withheld it the entire time.”

Noting that Shannon “has lied” but “the truth prevails,” Alexis continued to say she knows Shannon would not want the video to become public.

“She’s such a piece of s–t. I feel like I’m gonna throw up,” Alexis concluded.

Next, leaping two weeks ahead in a flash forward, Shannon could be seen crying as Gina Kirschenheiter told her there was a video Alexis had been talking about.

“He’s a monster,” she said through her tears.

In September 2023, Shannon was charged with hit-and-run and driving under the influence while being three times over the legal limit at 0.24. According to police, her car hit a residential building when she got out and she was found walking a few blocks from the scene with her dog shortly after.

In a statement to PEOPLE at the time, Shannon’s lawyer, Michael L. Fell, said: “I spent quite a bit of time with Shannon yesterday. She is extremely apologetic and remorseful. We will be awaiting the official information on this case as it becomes available, and Shannon is prepared to accept full responsibility for her actions.”

She was later sentenced to three years probation and 40 hours of community service. Then, in November 2023, the reality star appeared publicly for the first time at BravoCon and expressed her remorse.

“It’s been a tough six weeks but I will tell you that I made a terrible mistake and — I don’t want to cry. I’m incredibly grateful that I didn’t hurt anyone,” she said. “I, on my own, just completed a 28-day behavioral wellness program with an alcohol component and I have been able to focus on elements of my life that were unhealthy and toxic and I believe that today, I’m going in a good and positive direction.”

On the current season of RHOC, Shannon sat down to discuss her past mistakes with her three daughters. Noting that she was “embarrassed” for setting a bad example for them, she explained the series of events that night.

“I got in an accident seconds later, because I revved up the engine so he could know how mad I was, and I lost control of the car immediately,” she claimed. “Never broken a bone, I’ve never had a concussion, I’ve never been in an accident, I’ve never been arrested, never had a DUI, and I did all that in 10 seconds.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
