Shannon Beador Calls John Janssen’s Lawsuit “Extortion” in RHOC Preview, Claims She Owes Him Nothing in Court Over $75,000 Dispute

Nick Dubrow has said “arrivederci” to the United States.

On Sunday, September 1, The Real Housewives of Orange County son packed his bags and headed to Europe for his first semester abroad. Nick’s mother, Heather Dubrow, teased the exciting move in a sweet Instagram photo shared on the eve of his departure.

The Dubrows enjoy a family dinner before Nick’s big send-off

The snap showed Heather and Nick smiling ear-to-ear at Nobu alongside Heather’s husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, and their two youngest children, 17-year-old daughter Katrina and 13-year-old son Ace. Nick’s twin sister, Max Dubrow, was unfortunately not in attendance, as she was back in Massachusetts to begin her junior year at Tufts University.

“Family dinner (missing [Max]),” Heather captioned the Story. “Tomorrow [Nick] leaves for a new adventure!!!”

“OK, well our adventure is beginning!” the OC mom said before turning the camera to her son.

“Here we go,” he said with a smile.

Heather, Nick, and Terry landed in France less than a day later.

“Made it to Paris… now onward,” Heather wrote on Instagram before sharing a second update. “Landed in Nice and now off we go…”

Heather confirms Nick will spend a semester in Florence, Italy

Heather mentioned Nick’s semester overseas in a recent interview with BravoTV.com, confirming Max was also planning to study aboard.

“Nicky’s going to Florence [Italy] and Max is going to Paris [France],” she said. “I’m very excited about both.”

Nick is entering his junior year at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he is studying business finance. He spoke about his academic pursuits in a 2023 interview with The Daily Dish, saying he had yet to decide on a specific career path.

“That’s my specific major, but I got my [real estate] license a couple months ago, so I’m just doing this internship to explore it a little bit,” he said. “But I also want to try to do an internship kind of on the Hollywood agent side — maybe work in the mail room for a bit — or maybe work in a bank. I don’t know. I want to explore a lot of different things.”

After interning for Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ Josh Altman last year, Nick got a taste of the luxury real estate market and sold his first house; however, Heather told BravoTV.com that her son recently dipped his toes into show business.

“This year he’s working in production a little bit,” she said. “You know, he’s really just trying to get a flavor of all different careers and see what he loves. He’s so good with people. I really can see him in Hollywood, I can see him in hospitality, real estate, you know, lots that he could do.”
