Inside Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor Spinoff: Must-See Moments We’re Hoping For

It is about time that Bravo took our beloved Dorinda Medley off pause. The “Make it Nice” queen reigned over the Big Apple for six seasons. The mother of one was a part of the golden years of the Real Housewives of New York. Viewers easily fell in love with Dorinda because of her spunky attitude and zest for life. However, towards the end of her run in Season 12, Dorinda started to show a side of herself that wasn’t the kindness. But instead of firing her, Bravo took pity and just shelved Dorinda. But now she is back along with her precious Blue Stone Manor as the backdrop for a new spinoff show. Here is what I am hoping to see out of the new series.

I want to see a lot of guest spots on Dorinda Medley’s show

Blue Stone Manor has been the spot for many of themed weekends. Everyone can remember a scene or two that included a housewife meltdown. For me, it would have to be Luann de Lesseps crying about being put in the fish room. Even though the countess wasn’t a fan, I am sure plenty of other former Real Housewives will want to snag a guest spot. Dorinda has friends in high places so it would be pretty neat to see D rub a few elbows with them.

Naturally, a trip to Blue Stone Manor wouldn’t feel complete without some of the RHONY women popping up. There is so much to do in the great outdoors. Dorinda could set up a trip to the lake minus the stemware and wine. But perhaps this time, she could hire a chef and not worry about being the hostess with the mostess.

I want to see Dorinda’s aerobics make a return

Dorinda is a lot of things, but no one ever thought she was an 80s aerobic instructor. But during Season 8, she admitted to being one hell of a teacher. It would be pretty incredible to see Dorinda hosting a live class in her grand backyard complete with neon leotards. The 18-acre mansion is the perfect backdrop for anyone looking to relax and get healthy.

Come dine with Dorinda Medley

Okay, imagine there was a show where Dorinda was one of four hosts. Each contestant is in charge of one night where they cook up a scrumptious three-course meal and wait to be judged. The UK has a series called Come Dine with Me, but we would tweak it and call it Come Dine with Dorinda. Over the years, there have been some pretty rude guests who want to win the money. But I imagine Dorinda would be ruthless. The woman loves to win, and she isn’t afraid to voice her opinion. She would feel right at home in her own kitchen baking and cooking. And if she didn’t win, it would be the perfect makings for an epic meltdown because she most likely “cooked, cleaned, and made it nice.”

Medley Mansion

As fans are learning, Dorinda’s show is in the early stages. But rumors say it will be like Lisa Vanderpump’s Vanderpump Villa. I can picture it now: Medley Mansion. I love the idea of needless drama at Blue Stone Manor. With Dorinda as the lady of the house, everything would have to be meticulously done for each special guest. I am curious how she would feel not being the center of attention. Fans watch young hospitality workers in Vanderpump Villa live, work, and fight, all in the French chateau. In 2021, she listed the famed manor on Airbnb, and the response was fabulous. I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend a night in the fish room (other than Luann?) Sign me up!

Bravo and Dorinda have kept pretty quiet about their secret project. But Dorinda’s return means a lot of viewers who have waited for this day. The network is going through some major changes as it just rebooted the Real Housewives of New York. It also looks like the Real Housewives of Atlanta and the Real Housewives of New Jersey will also be getting the same fate. Whatever the premise, Dorinda has worked hard for her return and is still a fan favorite. I can’t wait to see the show bloom!

You can see Blue Stone Manor on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, now streaming on Peacock.
