Sutton Stracke Clarifies Store Status Amid ‘For Lease’ Sign Controversy, Shocking RHOBH Fans

A recent photo shows a “FOR LEASE” sign on Sutton Stracke’s self-named clothing boutique in West Hollywood. As fans wondered if the shop is shutting down, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star addressed the situation with a cryptic post.

Sutton’s shop has been spotlighted several times on the show. Castmate Kyle Richards has praised Sutton for successfully keeping it open for so long given how expensive it is to lease in that area.

On August 17, the photo surfaced of Sutton’s West Hollywood store.

“FOR LEASE,” said a sign above a window in an image shared by @benppollack via @queensofbravo on Instagram.

Fans then questioned if the shop was closing down.

“Why now?? We all knew this was never profitable!! Sutton has the $$ to bankroll it,” speculated one user.

“Can’t believe it didn’t happen sooner to be honest,” said another.

“Does this really shock anyone – like who was going to this shop? It looked so pretentious and only dealt with a certain clientele,” said another viewer.

“Retail spaces in LA are waaayyyy [too] expensive, kudos to @suttonstracke for even opening a store and doing the damn thing,” wrote a fourth fan.

On her website, thesuttonconcept.com, a message at the bottom of the homepage says: “Store is Temporarily Closed for the Month of August 2024. Please go to THIS LINK if you would like to place an order online.”

Amid the speculation, Sutton wrote a cryptic post addressing the situation.

“I hear those streets are talking about my store… if you want the real tea, just ask the pot;) Good things coming!” she exclaimed on Instagram. “And I love #weho and we are in this together😽💗💗💗 #sustainablefashion #circularfashion @thesuttonconcept and @suttonbrands are only getting better – thank you for your patience.”

According to a website description for the brand, SUTTON “unveils exquisite pieces in categories across designer fashion and accessories, fine art, gift items, and decor, adored and hand-picked with love by Sutton Stracke.
