Despite living on opposite sides of the world, The Real Housewives of Dubai star Chanel Ayan has gotten to bond with The Real Housewives of New Jersey legend Teresa Giudice. As the future of Giudice’s franchise hangs in limbo, Ayan declared that The Real Housewives of New Jersey could “absolutely not” exist without the table-flipper herself.
“[Giudice has] been there for 14 years. She built this,” Ayan told DECIDER when she stopped by our offices. “She’s great TV, you know? Like, no, she has to stay.”
The current cast of RHONJ consists of Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Margaret Josephs, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Dolores Catania, Jackie Goldschneider, Jennifer Aydin and Jennifer Fessler. With some of the women (namely, Giudice and Gorga) refusing to film together, executive producer Andy Cohen has revealed that Bravo plans to “reboot” the series — and that may or may not be with “all fresh faces.”
However, Ayan argued that the entire cast as it currently stands should be brought back for Season 15 — but only if they can “fix their issues.”
“They’re all a good group of friends. I feel like they all should come back, fix their issues,” she said, noting that she would “love to see” Giudice and Gorga’s families back together. “I think that would be beautiful. I root for all of them to fix it. And I think they can. They’re all great TV and I think they’re all great people too.”
Ayan also revealed whether she thinks the estranged sisters-in-law will ever reconcile.
“Families go through ups and downs, to be honest. I would like to see them fix it because they are family,” she said. “But then again, if your mental state is better without it, then do what’s best for your mental state. That’s what I would say.”

While Ayan didn’t see the RHONJ Season 14 finale, she said that Giudice “has the right to be upset” with both Goldschneider and Josephs for speaking to her husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas’ ex-fiancé. However, she thought it was a “good” thing that Goldschneider apologized after finally taking accountability for her actions.
