Taylor Armstrong Confronts Shannon Beador About Ghosting Her After RHOC Exit—Here’s What Went Down in Their Awkward Encounter

Taylor Armstrong revealed a run-in with Shannon Beador after Shannon went “crickets” following her firing from Real Housewives of Orange County. Taylor apparently confronted Shannon for dropping her as a friend when she no longer “need[ed]” her.

On the last season of the RHOC, Shannon and Taylor were allies. But the network decided not to bring Taylor back for the current season. Then, Alexis Bellino, the girlfriend of Shannon’s ex John Janssen, seemingly filled her spot.

On her Naked Truth podcast, Taylor said she recently ran into Shannon.

“I [hadn’t] heard from her in quite some time and I actually have been really hurt over it,” shared Taylor, via @Therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “When I saw her, she said, ‘Oh my God! How are you!?’ You know, act[ing] excited to see me.”

“I said, ‘Actually I’m hurt … You hurt my feelings,’” she added. “I feel as though she was kind of taken aback … She said, ‘I’m sorry.’”

Taylor claimed she was once Shannon’s “go-to call” in the “morning, noon, night” when Shannon was going through a “really dark time” in a “rollercoaster relationship.”

“When her life changed — and all of a sudden everything was different for her and she didn’t need me any longer — crickets,” Taylor recalled. “I haven’t heard a single word from her, and it’s so hurtful to me.”

Taylor said another castmate previously told her that “the minute” Shannon doesn’t need you anymore, “You won’t hear from her.”

“I’ll be damned if that exact same thing did not happen to me,” added Taylor, who said a certain friend called Shannon an “energy vampire.”

Taylor said the term “makes sense.”

Tamra Judge, who is still friends with Taylor (an alum of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), made similar claims against Shannon after her own firing from RHOC in 2020. Though Tamra and Shannon made up after Tamra returned to the show, they’ve since fallen back into a feud.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Thursday nights on Bravo.
