Filming for season nine of The Real Housewives of Potomac is underway. However, a few old bones are being dug up as Keiarna Stewart is now suing Deborah Williams.
This comes as a result of their fight that happened during season eight of the show. As fans know, Keiarna is returning for season nine while Deborah doesn’t seem to be.
For context, the fight between Keiarna and Deborah happened during an afterparty for Ashley Darby and Gizelle Bryant‘s clothing line. It started because Deborah threw a drink at Candiace, and then Keiarna got involved. Fans will recall that Keiarna joined the show as Wendy Osefo‘s friend last season.
According to TV Deets, Keiarna filed the lawsuit with the DC Superior Court in February of this year. They explain what caused the “ill will” between the two by saying Deborah had been making “inflammatory comments” about Candiace and her husband, Chris Bassett, all night. Things got worse as the accused picked up a “heavy glass filled with a beverage” and threw it at Candiace. However, some of the beverage spilled onto Keiarna.

Keiarna then goes on to say in the documents that the bottle hit her and caused a “serious laceration.” Not only did she need medical attention, but she also has lasting scarring. Keiarna wants $10,000,000 in damages for the “mental and physical anguish” she experienced as a result of the altercation. Additionally, she wants a trial by jury.

Naturally, Deborah has entered a “not guilty” plea. It seems likely we’ll see this all play out in season nine of the show, but without Deborah. There’s no official word yet on when RHOP will return for season nine, but many believe it’ll be late this year since they have been filming for a while now.
