Inside RHONY Star Brynn Whitfield’s Glamorous NYC Apartment: A Chic Tour

‘RHONY’ Star Brynn Whitfield Gives a Glamorous Tour of Her Chic NYC Apartment

Brynn Whitfield is opening the doors to her chic New York City apartment, blending uptown sophistication with downtown flair.

In an exclusive tour for PEOPLE’s Hollywood at Home, the Real Housewives of New York City star reveals her love for her newly decorated space, which she styled with help from Minted. The 14th-season newcomer shared the details of her home’s serene ambiance and how her co-stars have reacted to her stylish setup.

Whitfield, who typically starts her mornings lounging in her king-sized bed, describes her bedroom as a calming oasis.

“I do some doom-scrolling,” she admits, referencing her early morning routine. Despite the walls painted in Sulking Room Pink by Farrow & Ball, she assures that “the feelings are very happy in the morning here.” She adds, “Everything here is very soothing and calming,” pointing out the pastel-hued artwork that complements the room.

A self-proclaimed binge-watcher, Brynn confesses her penchant for reality TV, although she steers clear of watching her own episodes. “I love binge-watching reality shows,” she shares, “Not my own, ‘cause that one’s scary.” The sitting area in her primary suite, she notes, is almost as large as some of her previous apartments.

Whitfield reveals, “I’m very spoiled, the fact that I have a whole ‘nother part of an apartment and that I have a living room in my bedroom.” She enjoys the comfort of being able to move freely between the two spaces and sometimes even sleeps on her sofa. “It’s comforting, especially if you’re single,” she reflects.

Her apartment is adorned with art and sculptures from Minted, including a watercolor-like piece by Shina Choi, Kamala Nahas’s Playground 1, and Kuu Pottery’s Curvy Amphoro vase. Her favorite, Deborah Velasquez’s Underground Opera, is featured as a limited edition fine art print.

Brynn’s large walk-in closet is another highlight, doubling as a gossip haven for her and her friends. “We sit in here and we just gossip,” she says, adding, “We literally talk so much s— and spill the tea in here.”

She also addresses the infamous Christian Louboutins that had a mishap at BravoCon, stating, “They still exist. I actually did try to wear them the rest of the day. They kind of still work… Loubs are Loubs.”

The apartment, although a rental, has become a perfect venue for entertaining. Whitfield loves hosting dinner parties with champagne and caviar.

Fashion designer Jenna Lyons, one of her RHONY co-stars, even helped her select the dining chairs. “One opinion means more to me than anyone else’s and that’s Ms. Jenna Lyons,” she remarks. “I’m like, Jenna on a budget.”

Whitfield also mentions having various cast members over, including Erin Lichy and her children, who all had positive feedback. “Erin and her kids come by,” she says, “The kids love the place too, so it’s really nice.”

Previously, Brynn revealed to Arch Digest that she left her old apartment after the landlord wouldn’t allow filming. The new home is set to appear in the show’s upcoming 15th season.

Adding personal touches to her rental, Whitfield has painted the walls, installed crown molding and wainscoting, and added brass outlet covers. She’s also embracing wallpaper in her glam room, which features her vanity and an array of “fancy” clothes. “Sometimes I just sit here like a weirdo, just looking at everything, like, ‘How did this happen? How am I so lucky?’” she muses.

Reflecting on her evolving style, Brynn notes, “I’m moving slowly uptown. The decor style’s getting a little bit Upper East Side, but I like to think I’m still a downtown girl keeping it cool, with mixing modern, contemporary pieces.”
