Melissa and Joe Gorga Open Up About Their RHONJ Reboot Experience

Bravo couple Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga share their thoughts and feelings on the rumors that RHONJ is being rebooted for season 15.

Fans can’t stop discussing the possibility of Bravo rebooting the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise. Season 14 has created a huge divide among the cast, and fans aren’t enjoying the season in the least.

As a result, Bravo canceled the RHONJ season 14 reunion. They noted that there is “no path forward” with the cast, so having a traditional sit-down reunion would be futile.

This all has RHONJ fans in a tizzy and clamoring for any news that will give them details about Bravo’s future plans for the franchise and which cast members will be in and out.

Fans aren’t the only ones discussing the potential RHONJ reboot. Members of the RHONJ cast can’t stop talking about the future of the franchise.

Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe Gorga, are the latest Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members to talk about the forthcoming reboot.

The Gorga’s ongoing feud with Teresa Giudice is a major part of the cast divide on RHONJ. Their feud made filming season 14 very difficult as they refused to film together all season long. This divide led to new feuds and shocking alliances that caused further rifts among the cast.

On Melissa Gorga’s On Display Podcast, the RHONJ couple shared their thoughts on the rumored reboot.

“It’s definitely a long time and nostalgic for us and something that we’ve been doing forever,” Melissa said before asking Joe his thoughts on the possible reboot.

Joe said, “We put a lot of time and effort. We dedicated over a decade of our lives to this show, and it would be sad, right? Wouldn’t it be? It would be a little sad. It is what it is, and you know, whatever happens, happens. We’ll just have to move on, and when one door closes, another one opens, and we’ll just figure it out, right?”

“Either way, I think that…we’ve shown a lot of our lives, and I’m happy to continue showing it, and I’m also happy with the memories that we made,” Melissa said. “So I feel like we’ll be at peace either way.”

Melissa Gorga previously admitted that the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast is in the dark about the franchise’s future but doesn’t believe they need a large casting shakeup or an entire reboot.

“The truth is none of us know,” the Bravo star told E! News“The Bravo gods are working their magic somewhere and making decisions.”

“I think there is a need for a small shakeup. I don’t know if we need a large shakeup, but I do think a couple [of] things need to change. Our ratings are amazing,” Melissa said. “We do really well.”

The 45-year-old added that the franchise needs “changes” as some of her cast members played “toxic” and “dirty” throughout season 14.

Bravo has yet to confirm its plans to reboot the Garden State Housewives franchise. However, Andy Cohen has continuously teased that changes are coming for season 15.

“We haven’t even started talking about next season. We want this one to end. We’re gonna let it sit, and then we will get into it,” Andy explained on a recent episode of Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live“We’re gonna figure something out. We’re gonna figure something out. We are all on the same page about that.”

The Garden State Housewives franchise currently stars Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Jackie Goldschneider, Danielle Cabral, and Jennifer Fessler.

Real Housewives of New Jersey airs on Sundays at 8 pm.
